Hello guys! I’m Somnang. I’m 15 years old. I live in Kompong Thom province with my grandparents. I’ve got 3 siblings. They’re all students. I’m a student of Kompong Thom Drop-In center since 2017. I am here because of God. I was so happy meeting new friends and my teacher. I have experienced so many changes over the last year. I acquired quite a bit of new knowledge and I feel strong spiritually with God. I am becoming a mature student. I joined in community outreach works, learning Bible, and I learn a lot about daily life lessons. I also share what I learn about God with my friends, like how great God is and how I have changed after became a child of God. Many of them have now changed direction to follow God’s path. I was really glad to see this happen. I want them to grow, change, and to be successful people in the name of God. One good thing that I was so blessed from the Lord is that my family started trusting and loving me, more and more. Before I was a bad son and a bad kid in the eyes of the people around me. I didn’t study hard, I had a sharp mouth, and I messed around. I’m so delighted with what I’ve become in the name of God. I love my life and the people around me. I’m full of love right now. Thank God so much for this wonderful situation. Also, I found my life goal now. I want to be an English teacher. I try hard everyday. I pray and ask God to please give me the power and faith to reach my goal. I want to help all the kids in my province to speak the English language and show them how to open their hearts and trust our God. I want them to become strong and successful like me. Blessings!
